Highway and Railway Maintenance Reinforced Geotextile
Geotextile, also known as geotextile, is a permeable geosynthetic material made of synthetic fibers through needle punching or weaving. Geotextile is one of the new geosynthetics.
The finished product is in the shape of cloth, generally with a width of 1-6 meters, which can be customized, and a length of 50-100 meters. The standard part is generally 6*50 meters.
Filtration (anti-filtration) effect: while allowing liquid to pass through, it can also keep the soil or other particles under the action of hydraulic force.
Isolation effect: prevent two or more materials from flowing or mixing. Maintain the overall structure and function of the material to enhance the load-bearing capacity of the structure.
Drainage effect: Geotextile is a good water-conducting material. It can form a drainage channel in the soil structure to discharge the excess liquid and gas inside the soil structure.
Reinforcement effect: burying geotextile in soft foundation or unstable soil can play a reinforcing role, thereby improving the overall strength and stability of the soil.
Protection effect: effectively diffuse, transmit or decompose concentrated stress to prevent the soil from being destroyed by external forces.
The width is 1-9 meters and can be customized.
The length is 50-100 meters.
The standard part is generally 6*50 meters.
Mass per unit area: 100-1000g/㎡
(1) As reinforcement in retaining wall backfill, or for anchoring retaining wall panels. Construction of wrapped retaining walls or bridge abutments.
(2) Strengthen flexible pavement, repair cracks on the road, and prevent pavement from reflecting cracks.
(3) Increase the stability of gravel slopes and reinforced soil, prevent soil erosion and frost damage to soil at low temperatures.
(4) Isolation layer between road ballast and roadbed, or between roadbed and soft foundation.
(5) Isolation layer between artificial fill, rock pile or material yard and foundation, isolation between different frozen soil layers, anti-filtration and reinforcement.
(6) Filter layer of the initial upstream dam surface of ash storage dam or tailings dam, and filter layer of drainage system in retaining wall backfill.
(7) Filter layer around drainage pipes or gravel drainage ditch.
(8) Filter layer of wells, pressure relief wells or inclined pressure pipes in water conservancy projects.
(9) Geotextile isolation layer between the foundation of roads, airports, railway ballast and artificial rockfill.
(10) Vertical or horizontal drainage inside earth dams, buried in the soil to dissipate the pore water pressure.
(11) Drainage behind the anti-seepage geomembrane or under the concrete face in earth dams or earth embankments.
(12) Remove seepage around tunnels, reduce the external water pressure on the lining and seepage around various buildings.
(13) Drainage of artificial fill foundations and sports fields.
(14) Used to strengthen weak foundations in projects such as roads (including temporary roads), railways, embankments, earth-rock dams, airports, and sports fields.
